Client: Chicago Dogs Minor League Baseball
Project: Various Marketing Initiatives
Overview: During my time in sports marketing while working at PCG SportsDesk I had a unique opportunity to help launch a Independent Minor League Baseball team in Rosemont, Illinois. For months we were working on the project without a team name, a logo, or any sense of a brand guide. The project was originally named Chitown Baseball and from the start we were pitching naming rights deals, corporate suite ticket programs, and reaching out to potential vendors. Below are some of the one-sheeters I designed and developed for their marketing initiative. Without knowing what the colors were going to be, I changed them up for every company we were pitching. The 25M naming rights deal eventually went to Impact which is a company located in Chicago.
Logo designed for a pitch deck for the naming rights deal that eventually went to Impact. Each deck was designed with the approach that the ballpark would be a venue which has the potential to be utilized all year long.
These images are from the official name launch which took place at the Weiner's Circle in Lincoln Park. From there 25 folks dressed in hot dog costumes jumped on a bus and headed to various spots in Chicago for photo opportunities. In all, maybe 250 hotdogs were handed out to Chicagoans on their lunch break to help gain attention for Chicagoland's new minor league baseball team.
