Client: Lake Zurich Brewing Company
Project: Velvet Green IPA Label
Overview: The client wanted to rebrand their flagship Velvet Green IPA label to reflect their marketing initiative as Lake Zurich Brewing Company. Previous marketing strategies were fumbled from the start. Problems included a entirely different brand name that wasn't associated with the brewery, dark colors, and no SKU. This new strategy reflects the brewery's current branding with an updated bear-deer (beer) logo, the name of the brewery on the front, a UPC code, and a brighter green. The label was printed on Metallic Bop with white plate layers under the logo, the name of the beer, and the brewery name. This was done purposely to make the information easier to digest for the consumer.
The photo on the left shows the contrast between the metallic background and the white plate layer. The photo on the right features the new can in the forefront and the old can in the background.
