Client: Lake Zurich Brewing Company
Project: Sun Smoked Steam Lager Label
Overview: Lake Zurich Brewing Company asked for a label for their Sun Smoked Stream Lager beer they brewed in collaboration with a Weber Grill restaurant in Schaumburg, Illinois. After bouncing a couple of names back and forth between the brewery and the restaurant, we settled on a name with alliteration. From there I wanted to portray a backyard BBQ feel to the label. I settled on a white wood background to mimic a fence and monochromatic green to emphasize the lime flavor of the beer. The drawings were created through the Procreate app and the rest of the design in Photoshop. These labels were printed on metallic bop. White plate layers cover the label except for where the copy shines through.
